Freeport Farris Law Office Defies The Odds
January 2012
In its first year and a half since opening, the Freeport Farris Law office has defied the odds by prospering during a challenging economy. Despite economic down turns, the Freeport office has increased its client base and business, since originally opening its doors in June of 2010. Staffed by Farris Law senior partner, Michelle Allott and her assistant, Maryann Farris, the office focuses in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, trusts and probate, employment law and commercial litigation. In 2012, the plan is to further increase the mediation practice, offering lower mediation rates and travel costs.
During 2011, the Freeport office attracted a number of new clients from the Freeport and surrounding communities. Efforts to market the firm through Rotary, Freeport Chamber of Commerce, civic sponsorships and old fashion "word of mouth", have all paid off. The year closed with a number of legal victories and large settlements. These settlements included cases involving product liability claims against a national distribution chain and the resolution of a suit between a Maine food distributor and an international food conglomerate.
Based upon its successes to date, the Freeport Farris Law office has renewed its lease for an additional two years and plans to provide legal assistance to the Freeport and southern Maine community for years to come.
Farris Law Opens New Office In Freeport
August 1, 2010
Michelle Allott, a Senior Partner with Farris Law since 2005, has been a resident of the Freeport, Maine community since 1987. Given her close connections to the community, the decision was recently made to open a new office in Freeport. Michelle Allott and her assistant, Maryann Farris, work out of this office, focusing on personal injury, social security/disability, probate, mediation and a general business law.
While Farris Law continues to serve its Gardiner and central Maine clientele, the new office offers additional marketing opportunities in the Yarmouth, Freeport, Cumberland and Brunswick areas. We look forward to continuing and expanding the Farris Law tradition of offering excellence in representation.
As an additional incentive for Freeport area clients, we offer appointments on evenings and weekends. The Freeport Farris Law office is located in a central location at 491 US Route One, south of the business district with plenty of parking.
