Employment
Farris Law has long maintained a commitment to those in need of legal assistance in the employment field. We represent individuals who have endured workplace discrimination, based on sex, race, religion and/or disability. Our employment team is committed to advocating for those who have been inequitably treated, harassed, retaliated against and/or wrongfully discharged.
Conversely, we also represent employers in the preparation and maintenance of employment policies that are in strict compliance with the law. In the event that those policies are tested, we are always available to defend our clients. We also are ready to advocate for employer clients, who find themselves wrongfully accused before the Maine Human Rights Commission or in court.
